Project to sponsor monks from economically disadvantage families awaiting formal enrolment in Monastic Schools

RAOnline's local partner in Bhutan has established a projet to support young monks in their education.

YANA Expeditions, Inc. gives US$ 10 from every individual tour payment as a part of our Giving Back Project to sponsor monks from economically disadvantage families awaiting formal enrolment in Monastic Schools. Under this project many monks will be enrolled and will receive proper monastic education. This is being done as part of YANA's GIVING BACK PROJECT in close association with the Youth Development Fund (YDF - www.youthdevfund.gov.bt) founded by her Majesty Ashi Tshering Pem Wangchuck.

The YANA Expeditions Team strongly believes in giving back to the community from which we received and still receive numerous support growing up & through adulthood.
