Kailali: Maoists picked up over 500 ex-Kamaiyas, or bonded labourers,
from different parts of Kailali district in the west and took them to the
central area of Kailali, where the Maoists have seized land from the local
landlords.

Kalikot: Maoists abducted over a hundred civilians from different parts
of the district. The civilians were taken to make them participate
in military training.

Dolakha: Maoists attack passenger bus in Mainapokhari. Several RNA
soldiers, policemen and civilians have been shot dead. In the past time
different incidents have been reported from this area. More than a year
ago a passenger bus was hit by a Maoist led landmine near Mainapokhari.
Last year Maoists have attacked a passenger bus transporting security personnel. |
