At Kavre we had a long talk with a young Maoist cadre, who obviously was highly respectected by the local people. At the beginning the young cadre was extremely suspicious and aggressive. We have explained him the reasons of our journey. During our talk the young man has became friendlier. The cadre has recognized that the tourists in front of him had been very well informed about the ongoing conflict in this area. The talk has ended with a short shake hands. We remember very well, there has been a smile in the face of the Maoist cadre.
