In
the Annapurna region, the Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek is a very popular
one. Ghorepani is situated at 2750 m and Poon Hill at 3210
m altitude. Poon Hill is the best place to enjoy a panoramic view
of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna range and the sunrise in the morning as
well. |

Ghandruk village is known for its Gurung community. In the forest along the
trail rhododendron trees are growing. The region is habitat of various
species of birds and flowers. |
