Bomb hurled: Suspected Maoists have set off small bombs at a
tourist hotel near Thamel in Kathmandu. The bombs caused no injuries and
only minor damage. The hotel was one of the businesses warned by the Maoist
affiliated All Nepal Federation of Trade Unions to shut down.

Maoists have abducted students and teachers from two secondary
schools to involve them in basic military training.

Dailekh: Leaders and workers of left-wing People's Front Nepal
(PFN) have been injured when a group of Maoists attacked during their mass
